From May 16th to 18th, 2018, the China (Kunshan) Brand Products Import Expo was held at the Kunshan Huaqiao International Expo Center. Bozhon (Booth Number: GT23) made an appearance in the Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition Area of Hall G, showcasing two new intelligent manufacturing products to the audience: the NEXT D5 differential mobile robot standard platform and the NEXT O5 omnidirectional mobile robot standard platform. Concurrently, a new product launch event for the NEXT D5 was held.
(At the exhibition site)
The Follow feature provided by NEXT O5 allows it to move along with people, mainly used in scenarios such as supermarkets, shopping malls, and office buildings. At the exhibition site, the audience can control the mobile platform to follow them by holding the tracking handle.
(Audience Experiencing NEXT O5 On-site)
At the new product launch event, Bozhon introduced the NEXT D5 to the global market for the first time. It is a mobile platform designed for research and secondary development of robot positioning and navigation algorithms. It is mainly used by educational institutions and research organizations, and can also be utilized for product development by third-party enterprises. It features strong expandability, high stability, quick learning curve, wide applicability, and high cost-performance ratio.
(NEXT D5 Launch Event)
Wu Lifang, the senior industrial design engineer responsible for the NEXT D5 project, vividly demonstrated to the audience the features of NEXT such as anti-fall, 2cm climbing, and 3cm obstacle crossing capabilities. NEXT adopts a modular design, allowing for the autonomous selection of various LiDARs and cameras for SLAM development, and offers a rich set of programming interfaces. Its quick-release structure enables rapid transformation into a service robot chassis, providing motion control, mapping, and navigation functions. Such quick disassembly and flexible variability fully meet the experimental and educational needs of educational and research institutions, helping these institutions and third-party enterprises efficiently transform research achievements.
Bozhon, as a demonstration unit of intelligent manufacturing, focuses on digital workshops/factories (consulting, intelligent warehousing logistics, automation equipment, information system construction), key components, and intelligent robots, among other areas. It promotes the transformation and upgrading of intelligent manufacturing, supports the development of the real economy, and also pays close attention to the field of education. By providing a robotic education platform for the development of intelligent education, it supports the advancement of cutting-edge technology.
