The Robot Donation Ceremony at the Broaden-National University of Singapore Sami Laboratory Was Successfully Held

On October 31, 2018, the Broaden-National University of Singapore SAMI Laboratory robot donation ceremony was successfully held at the National University of Singapore. Professor John Thong, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore, Professor Li Haizhou from the Signal Analysis and Machine Intelligence Laboratory of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore, Lü Shaolin, Chairman of Broaden, Chen Jingyi, Chief Marketing Officer of Broaden, and Dr. Su Yanyu, Director of Robot R&D at Broaden, attended the ceremony. Professor Li Haizhou served as the host of the meeting.

Before the start of the donation ceremony, Dr. Su Yanyu from Broaden gave a brief introduction of Broaden to the guests present. Subsequently, Lü Shaolin, the Chairman of Broaden, took the stage to speak. He expressed his great honor to visit the National University of Singapore, which boasts top-notch professors and talented students. Broaden's main business segments include intelligent manufacturing equipment, key components based on intelligent manufacturing equipment (linear motors, light sources, lenses, sensors, etc.), and the field of intelligent robots. Currently, Broaden has achieved certain accomplishments in the field of key components, with a stable market share, and the market prospects in the field of intelligent robots are also very promising.

Lü Shaolin shared his entrepreneurial experience and dreams. He stated that it is only a matter of time before intelligent robots enter thousands of households. Singapore is experiencing rapid population aging, leading to a high demand for robots. The National University established a robotics center a few years ago and places great emphasis on research in the field of robotics. In these research topics, they have discovered many new insights. For this reason, he is very thankful for Broaden's donation, which provides them with opportunities for learning and research, and he also hopes for deeper cooperation between the two parties in the future.
