It has been learned from the Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Information Commission that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is set to announce the third batch of manufacturing single champion demonstration enterprises, single champion cultivation enterprises, and single champion product list, which has been publicized on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Among them, 26 manufacturing enterprises from Jiangsu were shortlisted, with Broaden's "3C electronic product whole machine assembly production equipment" successfully being recognized as a single champion product.
It is reported that this batch of listings was determined after voluntary applications by enterprises, recommendations by local industrial and information technology authorities and central enterprises, demonstrations of restrictive conditions by industry associations, and expert group demonstrations. Those without objections during the public notice period will be officially announced as "demonstration enterprises" and "cultivation enterprises" and will be "key targets for cultivation," receiving priority support from special funds. Their market share and profit margins are expected to further increase.
To achieve breakthroughs in key critical areas and enhance the international competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, thereby establishing a new image of Jiangsu manufacturing, our province has vigorously implemented a special action for cultivating and enhancing "single champion" enterprises in the manufacturing industry in recent years. This task has been included in the key work tasks of the provincial government.
At the same time, our province has vigorously implemented the "specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative small giant" cultivation plan, guiding enterprises to follow a path of specialized and innovative development, and a group of "hidden champions" and "small giant enterprises" in segmented industry fields have emerged. Previously, 33 enterprises in our province were selected as "single champion" enterprises by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
A relevant person from the Provincial Economic and Information Commission stated that the provincial economic and information system will continue to support enterprises in increasing their investment in innovation, encourage enterprises to improve quality, actively carry out tiered cultivation, strengthen support and services, and strive to create 100 national "single champions" through 3-5 years of effort.
