Invited to Attend the Summit Forum, Bozhon Delivers a Keynote Speech
On the morning of April 28th, the Summit Forum on the Cultivation of Intelligent Manufacturing Talents and the Seminar on National Vocational Technical Skill Standards for Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Technicians grandly opened at the Wujiang Hotel. The event discussed accelerating the construction of a team of intelligent manufacturing talents and jointly deliberated on the grand plan for the development of intelligent manufacturing integrating production, education, and research.
Peihua Gu, Director of the New Engineering Education Center and Professor at Tianjin University, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Luo Ping, Assistant Secretary-General of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Chen Xuefeng, Dean and Professor of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University, Zhou Jianping, Dean and Professor of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Xinjiang University, Wang Mou, Standing Committee Member of the District Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Wujiang Development Zone, Tan Guoming, Deputy Director of Suzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and other attendees participated in the meeting. The meeting was also attended by well-known experts in the field of intelligent manufacturing, representatives from relevant universities and research institutes, representatives and personnel from advanced enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region, as well as the main responsible persons of various bureaus and offices of the Wujiang Development Zone.
Zhu Jiangbing, Chief Technology Officer of Bozhon Precision Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., and Director of the China Machine Vision Alliance, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote report titled "Ascending Step by Step, Empowering Chinese Manufacturing" at the conference. He shared Bozhon's experience in intelligent manufacturing with all the distinguished guests present.
On the morning of April 27th, Luo Ping, Assistant Secretary-General of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and representatives from Xi'an Jiaotong University and other institutions visited advanced intelligent manufacturing enterprises in the Wujiang Development Zone for research and investigation. They had in-depth discussions with the enterprises being surveyed about the current situation and future needs of intelligent manufacturing talent cultivation. Qin Chunfang, Deputy Director of the Organization, Personnel, and Social Security Bureau of the Wujiang Development Zone, participated in the research.
A group of people visited Bozhon Precision Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. Through touring the Bozhon exhibition hall, the researchers learned about Bozhon Precision's layout and development in intelligent manufacturing. In the subsequent symposium, Zhang Min, the Dean of Bozhon Academy, introduced the guests to Bozhon's development history and talent cultivation efforts. Zhang Min explained that Bozhon's talent cultivation is divided into three categories. Firstly, the cultivation of skilled talents, where Bozhon is committed to bridging the last mile between talent training and application. Secondly, the cultivation of engineering talents, through the "3+1 training model" in cooperation with application-oriented undergraduate colleges, as well as Bozhon's internal training courses, to achieve the integration of technology and practical processes. Lastly, the cultivation of R&D talents, through cooperation with well-known domestic and foreign universities such as Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and National University of Singapore, to jointly train engineering and technical personnel needed for R&D. Following this, the two parties further discussed the target groups of Bozhon Academy, training resources, and the current joint training model with universities. Luo Ping expressed a desire to understand the needs of enterprises towards the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society to promote further cooperation. Zhang Min believes that there are obstacles in the introduction and training of R&D talents in enterprises at present, and hopes to deepen cooperation with universities through the society and introduce R&D talents.
The visit of this expert group has built a bridge for communication between the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, universities, and Bozhon. After this initial contact, both parties will further discuss and plan cooperation entry points and choose an appropriate time to implement them.

They provided the "Wujiang Development Zone Opinion" for the implementation of national vocational technical skill standards and the compilation of textbooks for intelligent manufacturing engineering technicians.
Yu Jun, the Director of Human Resources at Bozhon Precision Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., spoke as a representative of enterprises in the Wujiang Development Zone. He primarily shared experiences in talent cultivation under the trend of intelligent manufacturing and an overview of Bozhon's integration of industry, education, research, and application. Together with the attendees, he discussed what kind of talents the future intelligent manufacturing industry needs and the capabilities these talents should possess.
