7 Projects Won Suzhou Science and Technology Awards, Wujiang Private Enterprises Have Strong Innovation Drive

Recently, the list of winners of the 2014 Suzhou Science and Technology Awards was officially announced. Seven projects in our district won awards, including 1 first prize for Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 second prize for Science and Technology Progress Award, and 3rd prize for Science and Technology Progress Award. 5.

All the companies that received the commendation are private technology companies. The "Biodegradable Polyester Fiber Preparation and Application Technology" jointly applied by Jiangsu Xinmin Textile Technology Co., Ltd. and the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences won the first prize of the Suzhou Science and Technology Progress Award; the "Biodegradable Polyester Fiber Preparation and Application Technology" applied by Suzhou Bozhon Precision Technology Co., Ltd. "Multi-station fully automatic mobile phone parts assembly and testing machine" won the second prize of Suzhou Science and Technology Progress Award; Jiangsu Guowang Hi-Tech Fiber Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Shenghong Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., Kelin Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Zhonglu Projects applied by five companies, Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Yongding Co., Ltd., won the third prize of the Suzhou Science and Technology Progress Award.

The "Biodegradable Polyester Fiber Preparation and Application Technology" project that won the first prize this time aims at the preparation and application of biodegradable polyester fiber and conquers the degradable polyester fiber and its product industry in the field of new textile materials. A complete set of chemical production technologies has formed a low-carbon, environmentally friendly, energy-saving new product with strong international market competitiveness and broad application prospects.

It is understood that the Suzhou Science and Technology Award aims to reward units and individuals that have made contributions in promoting scientific and technological progress and innovation, and accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into real productivity. Various awards are selected once a year.
